As an Associate Production Support Engineer at Galaxy, you will be on the front lines, ensuring the smooth operation of our critical cryptocurrency platforms. Your responsibilities will include:

• Provide front-line production support across various cryptocurrency business lines and functions, including client trading, lending, proprietary trading, trade settlement, and risk management.
• Drive automation projects to minimize manual effort and enhance the effectiveness of production support processes.
• Monitor system health and performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Debug and troubleshoot complex applications developed in Java and Python, ensuring high availability.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to implement timely fixes and strategic enhancements that improve overall system stability.
• Coordinate with global counterparts to establish and maintain seamless “follow-the-sun” support, ensuring 24/7 operational excellence.
• Document and maintain comprehensive support procedures, runbooks, and knowledge base articles for efficient knowledge transfer.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand and address their support needs, provide transparent updates on issue resolution, and ensure superior client satisfaction.

We are searching for a highly skilled and detail-oriented engineer with a strong background in financial services and a passion for technology. Key qualifications include:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a closely related field.
• 4+ years of experience in production support or engineering roles, preferably within finance, with direct exposure to trading system internals, post-trade processing, or real-time risk engines.
• Strong technical proficiency in SQL and at least one programming or scripting language, with a preference for Java or Python.
• Demonstrated experience with incident response, root cause analysis, and structured problem-solving methodologies in a demanding production environment.
• A detail-oriented mindset with an unwavering focus on accuracy and quality in all tasks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical information clearly.
• A proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, consistently delivering outstanding customer service.
• The capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize tasks effectively under pressure.
• Fluency in English is essential for global collaboration.
